Other Notable Odds
The great thing about the Grand National race is that anyone can win, which is why a lot of bettors tend to like wagering on horses with longer odds. This section of the page will look at a couple of horses who have longer odds, but if the conditions are right and the horses bring their A-game they have the potential to be the 2012 Grand National Champions.
Shakalakboomboom – 20/1
Shakalakboomboom has had a great season so far finishing 2nd in the Skybet Chase at Doncaster and winning a handicap chase at Cheltenham in December. Shakalakboomboom has looked in good form and he is one of the long shots that has a real chance at winning the Grand National this year.
Always Right – 22/1
Always Right has done very well since he has started racing in handicaps. If Always Right does lineup at the 2012 Grand National he will be one of the horses to beat. The only problem is that not many horses from the point-to-point fields make it to Aintree each year. Look for Always Right to run a good race though if he is coming out of the gate at the Grand National this year.
