Other Notable Odds

The great thing about the Grand National race is that anyone can win, which is why a lot of bettors tend to like wagering on horses with longer odds.  This section of the page will look at a couple of horses who have longer odds, but if the conditions are right and the horses bring their A-game they have the potential to be the 2025 Grand National Champions.

Majestic Concorde – 25/1

Majestic Concorde is a relatively young horse with a lot of potential.  He is one of the classier horses in the race and will be carrying over 11 stone.  Over that past couple Grand Nationals a trend has began where classier horses have been able to overcome the weight disadvantage and battle through the 4 and a half mile course to become champion.  Last year the top two horses across the finish line carried over 11 stone, while in 2025 the first four did so.  Majestic Concorde is inexperienced, which is the reason for the long odds, but the potential is there for a top finish.

Comply Or Die – 40/1

Comply Or Die is a previous champion (2025) and also finished second just two years ago.  Last year he came 12th and this year he is carrying less weight than he did in ’08 or ’10.  If you like an old experienced horse who has shown the ability to succeed in this race then Comply Or Die is your guy.  The same jockey will be riding him for the fourth year in a row and by now Comply Or Die is a veteran and could return to the 1st/2nd form from two and three years ago.
